Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team.

As a Finance Executive, you will play a vital role in our financial department by ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and supporting various accounting tasks. Your attention to detail and proficiency in accounting principles, coupled with an A’ level in Accounting and prior experience in a Finance team will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong foundation in accounting, a passion for maintaining accuracy and integrity in financial records, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Process purchase invoices through our Accounts Payable software.
  • Post general entries to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Maintain receivables by tracking and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Actively chase debtors to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Post expense claim forms and verify their accuracy.
  • Perform suppliers’ reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • Exposure to accounting software would be considered an asset.
  • 1-2 years experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to work well in a team and self-driven.
  • Ability to multitask with a can-do and follow-through attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced- environment while maintaining a positive approach.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Possession of strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Maltese.
  • Be computer literate and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
