Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team.
As a Finance Executive, you will play a vital role in our financial department by ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and supporting various accounting tasks. Your attention to detail and proficiency in accounting principles, coupled with an A’ level in Accounting and prior experience in a Finance team will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong foundation in accounting, a passion for maintaining accuracy and integrity in financial records, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Process purchase invoices through our Accounts Payable software.
- Post general entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Maintain receivables by tracking and following up on outstanding payments.
- Actively chase debtors to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Post expense claim forms and verify their accuracy.
- Perform suppliers’ reconciliation.
Requirements:
- Exposure to accounting software would be considered an asset.
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position.
- Ability to work well in a team and self-driven.
- Ability to multitask with a can-do and follow-through attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced- environment while maintaining a positive approach.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Possession of strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Maltese.
- Be computer literate and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
