Job Description
Mizzi Automotive Services Ltd specialises in car and body repairs. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to work in this industry as a Paint Preparator.
Tasks
- To assess the vehicle and make sure that all body works have been done in the correct manner
- To smooth any unmasked surfaces by removing any previous coats of paint and making sure to sand any rough areas
- To apply paper and masking tape to protect any unpainted surfaces and removing them after the vehicle is ready
- To make use of any hand and power tools which will be required
- To report any health hazards to the Senior Operations Manager / Health and Safety Representative / Health and Safety Coordinator
- To report any near misses or injuries to the Senior Operations Manager / Health and Safety Representative / Health and Safety Coordinator
- To perform any other duties assigned by his direct superior when and as required
Skills and Abilities
- Eye for detail
- Organised
- Able to work on own initiative
Job Requirements
- Be able to multi-task and work on own initiative
- Experience in a similar post is an asset
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
