Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our presence within supermarkets and wholesalers. You will be responsible for visiting vendors, promoting our products, and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, all while building lasting relationships that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor visits: Conduct regular visits to supermarkets and wholesalers to foster relationships, understand their needs, and present our product offerings.
  • Sales and upselling: Actively engage with vendors to sell our products, while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products that enhance their offerings.
  • Lead generation: Proactively seek out new leads and business opportunities to expand our market reach. This includes networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing contacts.
  • Market analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in supermarkets and wholesalers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales reporting: Track and report sales activities, lead generation, and performance metrics to management on a regular basis.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals and product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the retail or wholesale sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
