The M.C.M. Group encompasses two companies in Malta offering maintenance, service and support to various business jets worldwide through its EASA Part 145 organisation, and continuing airworthiness management organisation through its EASA Part 147 organisation.

In order to continue supporting our customers with our dedicated team, we are looking for a Purchasing Executive on a full-time basis to support our Stores department in Luqa, Malta. Personality, experience and fresh ideas are considered beneficial, whereas organisational skills, perseverance and a positive attitude are a must.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the selected candidate will primarily be responsible for the distribution, transport and correct disposal of materials in accordance with the company’s maintenance organisation exposition.
The main duties attributed to this position are:
- Procure spare parts, materials, tools and equipment for planned maintenance of aircraft if and when required;
- Liaise with local forwarding agents for the smooth transportation / receipt of goods;
- Undertake general store duties such as incoming goods inspections, in accordance with the applicable procedures;
- Handle goods’ customs clearance;
- Monitor the progress of spare parts and components dispatched for repair or overhaul;
- Receiving, storing and issuing of materials, supplies, tools and parts utilising an inventory control system;
- Monitor tool calibration intervals and direct for recertification when expected;
- Conduct the annual inventory.
Working within a team, this position calls for an individual with a hands-on approach to ensure that the department is managed effectively and up to high standards.
- A good basic understanding of tools and consumables would be considered an asset. An organised and meticulous approach to work, together with the ability to always arrive to sound decisions are critical for successful performance in this role;
- Computer literacy is a must and knowledge of access-based programmes will be considered an asset, however, adequate training will be provided. Candidates must be in possession of a valid driving licence.
Previous work experience in a similar role coupled with a high level of education will be considered an asset. This position entails working on a morning shift basis during the week.
