The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hands-On Sales Leader to join the growing team. As a critical member of the Leadership team, the Sales Leader will drive sales strategy, engage directly with clients, and lead Sales teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales strategy and execution
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and target customer segments.
    • Set clear sales targets and KPIs, ensuring they are achievable and aligned with business objectives.
    • Design and optimize scalable sales processes to drive efficiency and growth.
  • Direct sales involvement
    • Actively generate leads through networking, outreach, and leveraging existing relationships.
    • Engage directly with prospective and existing clients to build relationships and close deals.
    • Deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches tailored to client needs.
    • Lead contract negotiations and finalize terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Team leadership and development
    • Recruit, onboard, and mentor sales team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Provide ongoing training and coaching to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team.
    • Monitor and manage individual and team performance, offering constructive feedback and support.
  • Cross-functional collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with the service delivery team to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
    • Serve as a key feedback conduit between clients and internal teams, influencing product/service development.
  • Sales operations management
    • Oversee the use of CRM tools for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and ensuring accurate reporting.
    • Regularly review sales metrics, prepare performance reports, and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Customer relationship management
    • Focus on long-term customer relationships, driving high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
    • Personally manage key accounts, maintaining strong and lasting relationships with our most valuable clients.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving
    • Address and resolve client issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Continuously seek out innovative sales tactics and tools to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Cultural leadership
    • Lead by example, embodying the company’s values and work ethic.
    • Motivate and inspire the Sales team to achieve their goals and exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in a services-based organization.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while being hands-on in daily operations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software.
  • High level of adaptability, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in inventory management, procurement, or a related role, preferably in a tech or distribution environment.
