Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Merchandiser. The selected candidate will ensure that our products are properly displayed and stocked in supermarkets. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that our brand and products are effectively represented in supermarkets.
Whilst previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset, the ideal candidate should possess:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be highly motivated
- The ability to work under minimum supervision
- A clean and valid driving license
- Good standard of education
- Fluency in both Maltese and English
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure company products are always visible and accessible at point of sale
- Ensure that all products falling within the company’s portfolio are stacked, checked for expiry dates, rotated accordingly and made continuously visible in all outlets whilst ensuring shelf space is optimized
- Ensuring proper product rotation in-store (FIFO)
- Ensuring POS material and other communication is placed on shelves and displays
- Maintain a timely and accurate store visiting schedule
- Be knowledgeable about all the products in our portfolio in order to promote these to all prospective clients
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with key store individuals
Requirements:
- Candidate must have their own personal car – a fuel and wear and tear allowance package will be included in the salary being offered.
