The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our pharmacies, ensuring that all processes are executed smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Operations management, exceptional leadership capabilities and a strong ability to enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations oversight: Manage and supervise daily operations, ensuring all pharmacies operate efficiently and effectively.
- Process improvement: Identify and implement strategies to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs without sacrificing quality.
- Team leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Budget management: Manage the operations budget and ensuring costs are controlled.
- Sales: cultivating a strong sales culture within the team and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
- Shift scheduling: Coordinate shift schedules and adjust rosters as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards.
- Performance monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder management: Work collaboratively with other departments and senior management to support company goals and initiatives.
- Risk management: Identify potential risks in operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of business processes, budgeting, and financial management.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
