Overview
We are looking to recruit a Customer Support Executive to join our young and dynamic team in the Health department.
The role
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in working within a customer service environment and with a medical background.
Main duties will include but are not limited to
- Providing insurance quotations and underwriting new business
- Handling enquiries from customers, branches and intermediaries
- Seeing to walk-in customers, answering incoming calls and email enquiries
- Issuing new policies and renewals
- Developing and following up list of prospective clients
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Preference will be given to candidates who have a qualification in insurance or are in the final stages of obtaining one. A medical background will be considered an asset
Education and experience
- Advanced Level of Education
- IT skills particularly in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken Maltese and English
