Are you passionate about technology and ready to lead? Food Chain Ltd & Quintano Foods Ltd, are seeking a dynamic IT System Manager to join our team and drive our technology infrastructure forward!

As an IT Systems Manager the person will define, implement, and support the company’s IT network infrastructure, and other technical services and platforms in line with the overall business.

Quintano Foods Limited is a long established company operation in the importation, marketing and distribution of food and beverage products spanning various categories. The company boasts a strong portfolio that brings together world-renowned brands in the chilled, beverage, grocery, confectionery and food service sectors.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the IT systems, ensuring smooth operations within Food Chain Ltd and Quintano Foods Ltd.
  • Implement and maintain network systems, servers, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Lead projects for restaurant openings.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and system security, keeping up-to-date with the latest tech trends.
  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration of software applications and hardware.
  • Monitor and maintain the restaurant’s network infrastructure.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of computers, printers, and other hardware in stores.
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support interactions, solutions and system configurations.
  • Contribute to the development of user guides and training materials to empower end-users.
  • Coach staff and conduct classroom training on basic IT procedures/troubleshooting and system usage.
  • Liaise with Franchisors: Establish and maintain strong relationships with the IT teams of our franchisors to ensure our systems meet their standards and requirements.
  • Oversee the seamless integration of any brand-specific digital tools, platforms, or software updates as requested by Franchisors with Vendor partners.
  • Vendor management: Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software, and system needs, ensuring all implementations align with brand requirements and timelines.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions that will enhance operations and service.

Educational and skill requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration and technology.
  • Possess strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Possess a clean driving license.
