Job Description

Falcon Money Management Limited is an award-winning multi-manager asset management company with nearly $1 billion in assets under management. Founded in 2009, Falcon has established an excellent track record in allocating funds to hedge funds and private credit strategies. With offices in London and Malta, we are now seeking a Junior Operations Analyst to join our Malta team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Malta team to implement and enhance operational procedures. Starting at a junior level, the candidate will receive comprehensive training and development to become a key member of the team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about numbers, manages their work efficiently, and excels in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all ongoing operational transactions related to the fund’s activity including:
    • Daily performance calculations;
    • Trade processing and settlement;
    • Cash management, including invoice payments and settlements;
    • Liaison with, and oversight of, the fund’s external administrators;
    • Reconciliation of all transactions and the monthly NAV with the fund’s administrators.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the resolution of all operational issues.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of operational processes and controls.
  • Perform additional ad hoc operational duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail – takes pride in their work and produces work which is accurate and error-free.
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and problem-solving.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
  • A proactive approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Finance-related university degree or experience working in the financial industry.
  • Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience.
