Job Description

ESS Ltd. is a forerunner in the electrical and lighting sector of the Maltese market, catering for residential, commercial and institutional requirements. The selected candidate will form part of the ESS Lighting Sales team developing a rewarding career.

The role
As a Sales Executive, the candidate will be responsible for driving sales of lighting products and solutions to meet the company’s sales targets. This role requires a proactive individual who can develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and provide expert advice on lighting solutions to meet client needs.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Greet incoming clients, support and serve
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the lighting industry
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our lighting solutions
  • Provide expert advice on lighting design, products, and solutions tailored to client requirements
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management
  • Close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
  • Provide after-sales support and handle any customer inquiries or issues promptly and professionally

Skills and abilities

  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication in Maltese and English, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Proven sales experience in the lighting industry or a similar field is considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
