Job Description

We are looking for a new team member to manage our subscription business. You will be supported by the Managing Director and the Head of Renewable Energy Brokering who are highly experienced in the environmental markets.

COMMERG is a screen and voice broker in the European Environmental Commodity Markets. In this niche market, we use our strong position, knowledge, and financial intelligence to match buyers and sellers in order to optimize deal structures (B2B only). COMMERG is a pioneer in the renewable energy market and has been steadily growing since its start in 2013.

COMMERG’s large presence in the energy attributes certificates trading has attracted clients to acquire trading data and tools from us on a subscription basis. This new flow of business needs an Accounts Manager for neat handling and for its development.

You will be based in Ta’ Xbiex, Malta, where the heart of our brokering team beats.

The Brokers team consists of 8 market specialists who have a strong commercial drive, are ambitious, eager to learn, entrepreneurial to investigate new markets, not satisfied until they have found a solution for a problem and act as team players.

The role
As Accounts Manager, you will keep all clients (companies) in good order and well informed.

Responsibilities include

  • Keeping clean communication with the subscribers (B2B only)
  • Managing all aspects of clients’ accounts, from administrative to invoicing tasks
  • Manage all subscriptions
  • Expanding the customer portfolio and coordinating the onboarding process
  • Coordinate with the Brokers and the back office about subscriptions
  • Reporting to the Managing Director about accounts
  • Chose and manage marketing campaigns on social networks

Job requirements

  • 1 – 6 years of corporate experience or product development
  • A diploma in marketing, business or sustainability
  • Interest in renewable energy
  • Practical knowledge of Mailchimp, LinkedIn and MS Office
  • Proactive attitude, eager to learn
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English
