Job Description

Clubclass English Language School is currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive to join our team.

Position purpose / summary
As a Sales and Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for researching and developing marketing and sales strategies for the company. Your job is to drive sales by implementing targeted marketing strategies. You will also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, tracking sales data, and creating performance reports.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Building, nurturing and sustaining strong relationships with potential clients, agents and partners
  • Communicating with existing, new and potential clients, agents and partners
  • Responding proactively to enquiries and advising potential clients
  • Preparing proposals and sending quotations to potential clients, agents and partners in a timely manner
  • Delivering webinars and carrying out online presentations to clients, agents and partners
  • Preparing Representation Agreements and Terms of Business
  • Keeping agents’ and partners’ records up-to-date
  • Organising show rounds of school and accommodation
  • Organising family trips and hosting agents, partners and social media influencers
  • Monitoring and communicating with underperforming agents and partners
  • Chasing slow-paying agents and bad debts
  • Market research and analysis
  • Monitoring and reporting on changing and emerging markets’ trends in the language travel industry
  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual marketing plan and budget
  • Being involved in developing the school’s marketing strategy
  • Ensuring that the individual sales targets and marketing objectives are achieved
  • Reviewing performance reports and providing feedback where necessary
  • Supporting and being actively involved in existing and new product development
  • Timely completion, update and return of reports
  • Planning, organising and attending workshops, fairs, office visits, meetings, presentations and marketing trips locally and abroad
  • Following up on marketing trips by e-mail, phone calls, etc.
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the school’s promotional material, website, adverts, stationery, etc.
  • Providing agents with the school’s information for websites, catalogues, etc.
  • Preparing and distributing newsletters and mailshots
  • Providing content for the school’s social media platforms
  • Translating promotional materials and blog posts
  • Updating agents’ and partners’ websites
  • Monitoring agents’ and partners’ social media channels
  • Assisting the team and other departments as and when necessary
  • Other duties as and when required

  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised, punctual and a team player
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish will be considered an asset
