Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker to join our team and help keep our company premises in top condition!

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including painting, plastering, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating, cooling, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Apply basic fixes to equipment and building systems, ensuring facilities are tidy and functional.
  • Obtain quotes and source materials cost-effectively, ensuring the best value for the company.
  • Manage and update the Maintenance task ticketing system to track and prioritize maintenance requests.
  • Assist with deliveries and pickup of goods as needed.
  • Maintain records of all repairs and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Experience using hand and electrical tools.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks (e.g., lifting, climbing ladders).
  • IT literacy, with the ability to manage and utilize a Maintenance task ticketing system effectively.
  • Valid driving license (a company car will be provided during working hours).
  • Electrical License A (or similar) is considered an asset but not required.

Working Hours
7:00am – 3.30pm or 08:00am – 4.30pm (Monday – Friday) 40hrs / week. Working hours can be further discussed and adjusted, we are flexible on this so let’s talk about it!
