Job Description
At Cini Marbles, we’re looking for a Marble Layer.
The Marble Layer will be handling the installation of marble surfaces in various projects, including countertops, floors, walls, and decorative features. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marble or stone installation and will be responsible for delivering precision and detail in every project.
Responsibilities
- Install marble slabs for floors, walls, countertops, and other surfaces.
- Ensure accurate levelling and alignment during installation.
- Seal, polish, and finish marble surfaces to enhance their appearance and durability.
- Repair and restore existing marble installations as needed.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional outcomes.
- Safely operate hand tools and machinery required for cutting and installing marble.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Physical requirements / working conditions
- Proven experience as a Marble Layer, Stone Installer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing marble slabs.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements from job sheets given.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work on-site.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Education and licenses required
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in marble installation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Candidates with previous experience in marble or stone installation will be given priority.
- This role is being offered on a full-time basis.
A remuneration package, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and personal attributes will be offered to the right applicant.
