Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organised Storekeeper Assistant to support the effective management of the company’s storage facilities. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Storekeeper to ensure smooth operations, maintain accurate stock records, and assist with the daily activities in the store. This role is critical to the supply chain process, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the stores in receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming stock.
  • Record and track inventory movements in the system, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Organise, label, and store goods in designated locations.
  • Assist in stocktaking and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Help in preparing orders and dispatching goods in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure the store is kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Report any discrepancies or damage in materials received.
  • Assist in managing the physical stock and inventory control measures.
  • Support in generating and maintaining stock reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or store environment is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
