About the job
We seek a dynamic and creative Travel Product Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing innovative and competitive travel products and packages that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop unique and appealing travel packages, including destinations, accommodations, activities, and experiences;
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and new opportunities in the travel industry,
  • Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers, including hotels, airlines, and tour operators to get the best rates and availability;
  • Monitoring of bookings;
  • Liaison with group leaders;
  • Following up on payments and handling all customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner;
  • Stay within the allocated budget for each tour while still providing a high level of service;
  • Promote the company’s tours through various marketing channels;
  • Create detailed reports on tour performance and customer feedback; and
  • Handle all administrative tasks related to tour operations.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field would be preferred but not essential;
  • Proven experience in travel product development, preferably in a tour operator environment would be preferred;
  • Strong market research and analytical skills;
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities;
  • Creative mindset with a passion for travel and innovation and the ability to think outside the box;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Fluency in English, additional languages a plus; and
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
