Guests can enjoy convenient access to Bookbites Café and Strand Café for refreshing beverages or quick bites.

The Cumberland Boutique Hotel, located on St. John Street, stands as a landmark offering tranquil surroundings and sweeping views of the Grand Harbor.

The NEU Collective takes pride in its diverse food and beverage offerings, showcasing authentic Mediterranean flavours. Grana Restaurant, located in Sliema and Valletta, provides the perfect setting to indulge in delicious Italian gourmet cuisine and share memorable moments with friends and family.

The NEU Collective is currently seeking a skilful professional who is able to perform the general maintenance and repairs of the facilities and smooth daily running of the premises.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Proficient in analysing and repairing issues such as broken locks, ensuring security protocols are maintained.
  • Regularly checking control panels and conducting assessments of basic electrical wiring to identify and address potential issues promptly.
  • Handling a variety of basic repairs and maintenance tasks to uphold the integrity and appearance of the property.
  • Utilizing diagnostic skills to identify and effectively correct mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Ensuring consistent upkeep of the premises, including cleaning, organizing, and addressing any structural concerns.
  • Skilled in plastering and painting to maintain or enhance the aesthetics of interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of pools, including water quality management and equipment upkeep.
  • Promptly responding to room calls, addressing guest or tenant concerns and resolving issues efficiently.

The potential candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Proficiency in plumbing and electrical maintenance tasks is a must.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is required.
  • Attention to detail and a positive attitude towards fellow team members, and guests.
  • Able to work shift duties, including evenings, nights, weekends and / or holidays.
