VJ Salomone Pharma is a specialist in the logistics, distribution and marketing of pharmaceuticals and healthcare-related products, representing some of the world’s leading Companies. As part of our expansion and development programme, the Company is seeking to recruit a full-time Shipping and Logistics Administrator.
This position calls for a meticulous and ambitious individual who is ready to work in a dynamic atmosphere and meet the exigencies of a challenging and rewarding job.
The chosen applicant will be responsible for supply forecasting, budgeting, purchasing and distribution of goods.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Monitoring inventory and analysing sales trends,
- Forecasting and placing purchase orders accordingly to ensure continuous and safe supply,
- Coordination of shipments,
- Liaising between supplier, manufacturing sites, relevant internal departments, government bodies and customers,
- Weekly sales reporting and financial reporting.
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills are required for this role and the position calls for an effective team player, with a flexible approach to the needs of the job and the organisation. Good command of written Business English is a must, as is excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications in particular advanced knowledge in the use of Excel.
A qualification in logistics or a part qualification in accounts commensurate with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, although not necessary, will be considered an asset. Candidates having a minimum of two years working experience in a similar role will be given preference.
