Job Description

Brilling Media is actively seeking a skilled Accounts and Admin Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting our financial and administrative operations. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing essential administrative support to the team. By maintaining organised records and streamlining processes, the Accounts and Admin Assistant will help enhance our operational efficiency.

Their attention to detail and proactive approach will be crucial in meeting the company’s financial and administrative needs. Joining our dynamic team, this role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to the growth and success of Brilling Media.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Check inbox, download and vet invoices received from suppliers and/or Sales team on daily basis.
  • Monitor customers’ accounts and payments, as well as chase debtors for dues.
  • Posting all purchases and assisting in bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of payments to suppliers.
  • Assisting in daily and month-end procedures.
  • Manage inbox and respond in a timely manner.
  • Work in line with company processes and procedures, adhering to and maintaining file management systems.
  • Respond to supplier / customer queries related to accounts.
  • Administrative and clerical duties as directed by the direct line Manager.

Qualifications and skills:

  • The ideal individual must be highly organised and pay great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • A friendly and engaging personality and must be a good team player.
  • Possess assertiveness for debt chasing.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English.
  • Experience using Xero would be considered a great asset.
  • Experience in gaming sector will also be considered as a great asset.
