Diploma in Business-Y1 (First year of a 3 year degree)

The NCC Education Diploma in Business is a great way to expand your knowledge in Business and Management and pursue a career in Business management. It is equivalent to the first year of 3 year Honours Degree.

The three-year degree framework of study includes;

• First year: NCC Diploma in Business (MQF Level 5)
• Second year: BA (Hons) Business Management Year 2 (MQF Level 5)
• Third year: BA (Hons) Business Management Year 3 (MQF Level 6)
  or
• Second year: BA (Hons) Business Management and Human Recourses Year 2 (MQF Level 5)
• Third year: BA (Hons) Business Management and Human Recourses Year 3 (MQF Level 6)
• Second year: BA (Hons) Business Management-Marketing year 2 (MQF Level 6)
• Third year: BA (Hons) Business Management Marketing year 3 (MQF Level 6)

Students who successfully complete this qualification in the first year of the degree may gain direct entry to the 2nd year BA (Hons) Business Management degree options offered by the University of Wolverhampton Malta.

Prerequisites

• For Year One, students must have at least one of the following:
• Six O’ Levels including Mathematics, English and any other four subjects AND at least one A’ Level in the area or equivalent OR
• The NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Business OR
• NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies qualification (L3IFDHES) OR
• International Baccalaureate Diploma Certificate

If a potential student’s first language is not English, they must also reach the English Language requirements of either:

• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum score of 5.5 or
• Matsec or GCE ‘O’ Level

Mature students over the age of 21, are considered on an individual basis and do not necessarily have to meet the above requirements

Part-Time Schedule

• Start: Monday, October 21st, 2024
• End: Wednesday, October 14th, 2026
• Lectures: Mondays and Wednesdays
• Lecture Time: 6.00 pm – 8.30 pm
