Job Description

Overview
We are looking to recruit a Customer Support Executive to join our young and dynamic team in the Health department.

The role
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in working within a customer service environment and with a medical background.

Main duties will include but are not limited to

  • Providing insurance quotations and underwriting new business
  • Handling enquiries from customers, branches and intermediaries
  • Seeing to walk-in customers, answering incoming calls and email enquiries
  • Issuing new policies and renewals
  • Developing and following up list of prospective clients

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have a qualification in insurance or are in the final stages of obtaining one. A medical background will be considered an asset

Education and experience

  • Advanced Level of Education
  • IT skills particularly in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in written and spoken Maltese and English
