Job Description

O|Tech Malta is looking for a driven and motivated Azure Environment Specialist to join our dynamic team.

The Azure Environment Specialist will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our Azure infrastructure, particularly focusing on Azure Active Directory and Dynamics 365. This role involves ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our Azure environment, supporting user management, and optimizing Dynamics 365 for business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure active directory management:
    • Administer and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD), ensuring proper configuration and security.
    • Manage user accounts, groups, and access permissions within AAD.
    • Implement and enforce security policies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot AAD issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Dynamics 365 administration:
    • Oversee the administration and configuration of Dynamics 365 applications.
    • Customize Dynamics 365 to meet business requirements, including workflows, forms, and reports.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
    • Ensure data integrity and perform regular data audits.
  • Azure infrastructure management:
    • Manage and maintain Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of Azure services and resources.
    • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems.
  • Security and compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to Azure and Dynamics 365.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary improvements.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and implement proactive measures.
  • Support and troubleshooting:
    • Provide technical support for Azure and Dynamics 365-related issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Documentation and training:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure and Dynamics 365 configurations and procedures.
    • Conduct training sessions for end-users and IT staff on best practices and new features.
