Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the selected candidate is fully responsible for the procurement, compilation, analysis, interpretation and circulation of accurate, relevant and timely statistics in relation to market sales and other related data and information as required by the marketing and sales business units, to aid and support business objectives, business decisions, business / brand strategies and the annual planning cycle. The selected candidate will proactively track market trends in order to guide and advise senior management on such matters.

The main duties will include:
  • Compiling and updating relevant sales and market statistical databases as required and reporting thereon;
  • Providing regular and ongoing analysis aimed at identifying and quantifying the Company’s market share relative to competition in the various market segments and channels;
  • Taking the lead in the process for the computation and approval of the Company’s annual sales forecast;
  • Compiling analysis reports on market size and potential brand/product availability, sales trends and projections and market share estimates;
  • Collecting and compiling regular and updated statistical data and information related to the local macro-economic situation;
  • Assisting management with ad hoc requests related to sales and / or market data;
  • Keeping abreast with international trends in the beverage market.

The selected candidate will:
  • Be in possession of a first degree in statistics or mathematics;
  • Have proven computing, problem solving and presentation skills;
  • Have strong analytical background and good business acumen;
  • Have an outgoing personality and show initiative and creativity;
  • Possess good knowledge of market data sources, market research techniques and analysis tools;
  • Have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
