Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for interested candidates to join CMA CGM Agency Malta Limited as a Finance and Cost Control Clerk. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible, amongst other duties, for:
  • Assisting in the preparation of information required for monthly management accounts.
  • Sorting expenses and coding invoices with the correct information for posting.
  • Liaising with all the respective team members on all queries relating to cost control and to follow up on such matters.
  • Issuing sales invoices to clients and to co-ordinate with the operations department on any issues. 
  • General book-keeping and administration procedures as per the Company’s standards.

The position calls for an energetic and flexible individual, representative of a forward-looking Company who can interact well with all stakeholders and work well under pressure.    

The ideal candidate must:
  • Have successfully completed: post-secondary level of education and ideally in possession of the advanced level of education certificate in accounts.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar job.
  • Have good communication skills. 
  • Be computer literate with experience in word-processing and spread-sheet.
  • Be in possession of a valid driving licence.
  • Be fluent in English and Maltese.
